Next Project for the Portfolio

For this next piece, I have chosen to use acrylic paint on a canvas board. The painting is of the side of a girl's face who is crying (mine maybe...?). In the background is a tree that is being hit by lightning. This is supposed to represent my family and how I feel about it. The tree is like a family tree, and the lightning shows how the family is broken. This is somewhat of an emotional project for me, but I think it's a good representation of who I am. That is what I wanted my portfolio to portray, the different aspects of my life that make me...me.
