Sometimes I can just be so crafty =]

So this year, instead of spending a billion dollars on a garter for prom, we decided to make our own!! So with the help of Mrs. Propst, we went up to her room to sew and stitch our little hearts out. I bought the supplies at Lori's Pins and Needles, which consisted of sparkly lace, a hot pink ribbon, and silver and hot pink accent ribbons. I also got a white ribbon to sew words on. Oh, and elastic of course. Kelsey Wright helped me a bunch on the sewing machine, because I don't really know what I'm doing. I haven't sewed since like 5th grade. She also helped me on the words. I sewed "Sarah & Logan" (he was the prom king!!) on one side, and "Prom 2009" on the other side. It ended up looking really good! Mrs. Propst helped me make the little bows on it and everything. I was pleased =]
